10 Cell High Performance Air Kit 

The HP Series of TekStak Kits contains everything you need to quickly build a high power fuel cell stack and produce electricity from a pressurized air source and a low pressure hydrogen source. This series of kits is designed for users who require higher performance or the ability to use pure oxygen instead of ambient air.  The HP products are designed around a “closed cathode” design that requires a pump or compressed air supply to force air through the stack. Combined with the high power membrane-electrode assemblies (MEAs) included with these kits, the power output from these stacks is significantly more than from the HA Series products. 

 

Each kit includes instructional materials to get you started. A DVD that demonstrates the proper construction of the stack and explains how fuel cells work is included along with an easy to read manual with more detailed information. The kits can be easily assembled, used, and then disassembled for easy storage when not in use.

Assembly Hardware

The TekStak is a Proton Exchange Membrane (or PEM) fuel cell. PEM fuel cells work by converting hydrogen and oxygen from the air into water. This chemical reaction releases energy in the forms of heat and DC electricity. If you connect a load to the stack, such as a small fan or LED lamp, the electricity will flow powering the fan or lamp.
